
This past few months Huitouch Ltd. has been paving the way for better HR practices through its newly launched innovative solution HREWARDER.
Let's take a closer look at how an HR manager or line manager can appraise their staff, using the rating appraisal technique. In HREWARDER performance indicators are divider into two bits
- Specific KPIs - SKPIs
- These are key performance indicators that are assigned to each staff based on either some task or targets given. For example, a staff may be given a SKPI of closing at least three sales deals per month.
- SKPIs are tied to objectives that a firm wishes to accomplish within various periods of the year.
- General KPIs - GKPIs
- General KPIs are globally assigned KPIs that every staff in a given firm must aim to accomplish.
- GKPIs provide a more simplified means to relate the performance of one staff to another, if one is doing better, then serves, as encouragement for others.


Also after creating GKPIs, lets take a look at how staff can be appraised using the star rating technique. The screenshot below explains show how it works, for each GKPI a staff can be rated as follows
- Poor - 1 star
- Good - 2 stars
- Average - 3 stars
- Very Good - 4 stars
- Excellent - 5 stars

Performance is best described visually, and as such, HREWARDER provides numerous visual graph reports, showing the variational performance of each staff over a given period of time, usually based on the frequency of appraisals.
Look at the graphs shown below, you can see that, over a long period of time, let us say, five to ten years of gathering performance data, every firm and their various stakeholders, can have an in-depth view of how well their staff have been effective, while carrying out their duties. This makes it possible to identify delayed promotions, delayed pay raise, or perhaps, curb misappropriated pay to defaulting staff, or even identify any form of monotonous appraisals.
