Students of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State, have recently protested on the streets against the series of incessant robberies in the school and the delayed response of the school authorities towards ensuring their safety is restored.
Unfortunately a student was killed after the protest turned violent, wondering why one or two students or protesters keep getting killed during protests that are meant to be voice for the good of the nation. The students in retaliation have baricaded the Abeokuta-Ibadan highway and also reportedly burnt down the Vice Chancellor’s church bus…. To prevent more damages the school has been shut down.
